NEFCD – Mentorship program
In the mentorship program we build together a personalized period for you. YOU are a young and emerging dance artist and would still like to have a support system.
During your year you can train with us at any time, you can join freelance projects, work as an (apprentice) dancer in projects and companies or you can even work on your own creations/projects.
We offer the support that you need.
Your membership at Dance Center of the North (Danscentrum Norr) will offer you many opportunities to connecting with
other freelancing artists in Sweden.
Membership at Danscentrum Norr allows you to join all the offered workshops in the four regions of the North of Sweden for free including a support in the travel expenses. Mentorship program has a start in September 2024 as well as January 2025.

After the closing date, we have continuous acceptance if there are places left and auditions can be arranged. Applications are then processed in the order they come in. Auditions are available the whole year round, so you can perform an audition at any moment through the year.
Applicants must be over 21 years old by September 2 2024. The course is suitable for school leavers, students and dancers aiming to continue their professional development. Applicants must have experience in every day training previously, to be able to fulfill the classes both physically and mentally.
Language requirements:
- IELTS Academic 5.5 (IELTS Online will not be accepted)
- TOEFL iBT 70 (Home Edition will not be accepted)
- TOEIC 620/260 (listening & reading / speaking & writing)
- Cambridge B2 First – Grade C (scale 162-168)
The auditions will consist of a first meeting online, a sharing of some work on video and one more meeting online.
A basic fee of SEK 500 is paid per term and is non-refundable.
There are additional course-specific costs for e.g books, membership at Danscentrum Norr and study visits/travel. It won’t exceed SEK 1000 per year.

Both the education and the audition are free of cost. You have the option of renting a room in the school’s dormitory at a cost of SEK 4,200 per four weeks (lunch included on school days, Monday to Friday).
