NEFCD – LAB
LAB creates a space for young and emerging artists from different disciplines of the arts to create a project or fulfill an idea. So, whether you work with painting, writing, film, architecture or dance, your project or idea can find a place with us.
The idea or concept needs in some way to meet or cross with dance. The program is a half time program that can be from 6 month to one year.
We support with training, dancers to work with, artistic mentorship, space and support in bringing your work to the audience. LAB is a project that will be formed individually for you in consultation with the educational team.
Applications for LAB is ongoing and the project can take place at any moment in the year.

Applicants must be over 23 years old by time that your project starts. The course is suitable for emerging artists aiming to continue their professional development.
Language requirements:
- IELTS Academic 5.5 (IELTS Online will not be accepted)
- TOEFL iBT 70 (Home Edition will not be accepted)
- TOEIC 620/260 (listening & reading / speaking & writing)
- Cambridge B2 First – Grade C (scale 162-168)
The application will consist of a first meeting online, a sharing of some work and one more meeting online.
A basic fee of SEK 500 is paid per term and is non-refundable. There are possible additional course-specific costs. It won’t exceed SEK 1000 per year.

Both the education and the application are free of cost. You have the option of renting a room in the school’s dormitory at a cost of SEK 4,200 per four weeks (lunch included on school days, Monday to Friday).
